- ✗Ouddorp: kiting only between beach entries 9 and 7; the offshore sandbank is seal habitat and off-limits. kitesurfvereniging.nl
- ✗Petten: kiting all year, but only south of the pole village (palendorp); stay away from swimmers in summer. kitesurfvereniging.nl
- ✗Rockanje: no kiting on the bathing beach (entries 1-2) April-October; sportstrand open all year; the sandbank 1.5 km out is off-limits. kitesurfvereniging.nl
- ✗Wijk aan Zee: kiting only in zone 2; zone 1 next to the pier is banned (swimmers and surfers). kitesurfvereniging.nl
- ✓IJmuiden: kiting all year in zone 1 and zone 3 (IJmuiderslag). kitesurfvereniging.nl

- iSea beaches: the municipality's APV sets kite zones; off NKV spots kiting is banned. Keep out of marked swimming zones. kitesurfvereniging.nl
💨Wind
🔥 Thermal: Sea breeze: often only from the afternoon on sunny days, when land and sea temperatures differ enough. Usually from NNW, strongest around 19:00.
