- ✗Wasserburger Bucht nature reserve (Wasserburg–Nonnenhorn): all craft and floating devices banned, no storing of surfboards. regierung-schwaben.bayern.de
- ✗Towing kites or other flying objects behind a boat is banned on the whole Bodensee. bodenseekreis.de
- iBSO Art. 16.02(5): authorities may allow sailboards and kite boards in certain shore areas as an exception. Wing is not named in the BSO. gesetze-bayern.de
- iBoards need the owner's name and address. More than 300 m out, carry a buoyancy aid. Boards give way to all other craft. kapo.tg.ch
