✗Kitesurfing is banned downstream (city side) of the line Vengeron - Tour-Carrée and near landing stages - this covers Cologny and Chambésy. silgeneve.ch
✗Paddle, windsurf, wingfoil and parawing are banned downstream of Port-Noir - Perle-du-Lac (the harbour basin) and near landing stages; Cologny and Chambésy lie just outside. ge.ch
✗Vaud: no kiting inside yellow-buoy zones, within 100 m of ports and landing stages, or in federal bird reserves. lexfind.ch
✗Bird reserves with kite ban: Les Grangettes (Villeneuve - Rhône mouth - Le Bouveret), Pointe de Promenthoux, right shore of the Petit-Lac (near Coppet). kitesurfclub.ch
iGeneva: boards and wings by day and in clear weather; kiting at Bécassine officially forbidden (park) but tolerated; bird reserve nearby. cnv.ch
