π¨Wind
π₯ Thermal: Niederwind (N): about 11-16 h, 12-23 kn, in a steady high with a light N-NE flow; strong SW, S or E flow kills it. Usually from NNE, strongest around 16:00.
π Morning wind: 'Oberwind': south wind from the second half of the night until about 9 h, 3-5 Bft (up to 6), strongest around 5-6 h at Traunkirchen, from S.
FoilFlow checks the thermal conditions every day (sun strength, wind aloft, FΓΆhn, Bise and the lake's own pressure rules) and shows when it is likely.
Forecasts from several weather models (e.g. ICON, AROME, HARMONIE) and live measuring stations nearby are in the app.
π‘Good to know

- Ebensee: Lakebase Rindbach (courses, rental); paid parking at Rindbach and Trauneck
- Storm signals: watch for strong westerlies
